Rooted in a lifelong love of dance, Stine’s practice unfolds through the simple yet radical act of moving together. She works with dance as a way to soften relationships, deepen presence, and strengthen connection to one another and to the environments we inhabit.
Amid political polarization, social fragmentation, and ecological breakdown, she approaches dance as a micro-political act. Through participatory and site-specific formats, she invites audiences to step out of spectatorship and into collective motion. These temporary choreographies resist isolation and disembodiment, insisting on presence, vulnerability, and shared responsibility. They are not metaphors for change, but embodied rehearsals of it.
Her current research builds on “Dancing Together as a Practice of Freedom” (2026), developed with participants aged 65+ as part of the MFA in Dance and Participation at the The Danish National School of Performing Arts. She also holds a BA in Dance, Context and Choreography from HZT Berlin (2015), where somatic, improvisational, and collective approaches shaped her foundation.
Based in Copenhagen, she lives with her partner and their three children.
